UNIDO & SPX

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), established in 1966, is the specialized agency of the United Nations mandated to promote industrial development and international industrial cooperation. UNIDO is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, and is represented in 36 countries. This representation and a number of specialized field offices, for investment and technology promotion and other specific aspects of its work, give UNIDO an active presence in the field.

SPX (Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange) is a non-profit organization established by UNIDO.

SPXs specialize in promotion and development of international industrial subcontracting.

SPX program has been running for 30 years in more than 30 countries. Today 45 SPXs have been established by UNIDO, forming a global industrial outsourcing network.
