SPX-CQ Promotion Activities

To further promote SPX-CQ, SPX-CQ staff visited some world famous enterprises and associations in China and had discussion with them on long term cooperation.

Mr. Wang Wei,  Director of SPX-CQ, visited the Shanghai office of Sourcing Asia-Pacific of Ingersoll Rand and had discussion with Mr. Huang Zhengyu, Director of Sourcing AP. Mr. Wang Wei introduced about the mission, service range and professional capacity of SPX-CQ as well as the strengths and weaknesses of Chongqing enterprises and Mr. Huang Zhengyu introduced the company profile of Ingersoll Rand Group and the purchasing policy in Asia to Mr. Wang. After learning the cooperation practice between SPX-CQ and international associations and buyers, Mr, Huang gave high appraisal of the professional capacity of SPX-CQ, and showed the intention of cooperation with SPX-CQ on some projects of Ingersoll Rand Group in China.

SPX-CQ staff visited the office of ZF(China) Investment Co., Ltd in Shanghai. The Purchasing Manager introduced the purchasing strategies, purchasing procedures of the company and the products which are planned to buy in Chongqing. He also made some good suggestions on the development of SPX-CQ, such as SPX-CQ should also concern about some other products as oil sealer, powder metallurgy, and some forging, casting and precision machining products.

SPX-CQ staff visited Eaton Global Sourcing GmbH Shanghai Rep Office and had a nice talk with the Manager of Supply Chain Management, Asia-Eaton Corporation. The manager introduced the organization structure of Purchasing Department and the purchasing procedures of Eaton in China, as well as the purchasing plan in China in 2007. The manager acknowledged the effectiveness of the service mode of SPX-CQ while he pointed out that the quotation capability of Chongqing enterprises needs to be improved.The SPX-CQ staff visited Mrs. Sonja Mueller, the Executive Chamber Manager of German Chambers of Commerce in China.  The SPX-CQ staff introduced the economic situation of Chengdu and Chongqing, especially the economic development and key industries of Chongqing to Mrs. Mueller, and had discussion on  “The Problems and Opportunities for the Cooperation between  Enterprises in West China and the International Companies”. Mrs. Mueller gave high appraisal to service capacity of SPX-CQ and indicated that AHK is actively developing market in West China, and is willing to accept the invitation of SPX-CQ to organize the local German enterprises or theirs Chinese offices to attend Subcon China 2007 (China Industrial Subcontracting & Outsourcing Fair 2007).
