Visit of VDA-QMC
The German Association of Automotive Industry (VDA), an organization of automobile manufacturer and supplier in Germany, has more than 800 member companies, including Volkswagen, BMW, Benz, Bosch, Siemens. Quality Management Center (VDA-QMC) supports their member in all quality related common issues. It acts as oversight office for the IATF(ISO/TS16949), issues the VDA quality standards, performs quality related trainings, and coordinates quality management events on all levels of German car and supplier industry so as to help the industry to improve the quality of its products and services.Dr. Wolfgang Wagner, General Manager of VDA-QMC, and Mr. Richard Feng, deputy general manager of VDA-QMC, visited SPX-CQ on Apr. 4th, 2007. Mr. Wang Wei, Director of SPX-CQ met with them and discussed about how to help Chongqing companies improve their quality management. Both parties reached agreement on cooperatively operating a gap analysis project for Chongqing Suppliers by experts from German auto OEMs.
