Deputy Mayor Mr. Wu Jianong plans to visit AAIA in US
SPX-CQ has got into contact with AAIA and reached agreement on the visit of Mr Wu Jianong, the deputy mayor of Chongqing municipal government, to AAIA. The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) was established in 1999 by merging of the Automotive Parts & Accessories Association (APAA) and the Automotive Service Industry Association (ASIA). AAIA is based at a Bethesda, Md., whose 8,243 member companies and affiliates manufacture, distribute and sell motor vehicle parts, accessories, service, tools, equipment, materials and supplies. Through its membership, AAIA represents more than 100,000 repair shops, parts stores and distribution outlets. AAIA serves the automotive aftermarket, a $250 billion industry with millions employees and over 500,000 companies.
Mr. Wu Jianong will meet the president of AAIA and discuss about the cooperation between Chongqing and AAIA. This is another important progress after the cooperation between Chongqing and AIAG last year.
