Gap Analysis of Chongqing Auto Parts Enterprises will start soon
Under the direction and support of Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing Economic Commission, Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission and Chongqing Personnel Bureau, after two months preparation, the expert team from AIAG will arrive in Chongqing on 13th, November to start two weeks gap analysis on Chongqing enterprise. A total of six Chongqing enterprises will be evaluated, among which four companies will be assessed by DaimlerChrysler and two by Ford. The expert team composed of purchasing experts from DaimlerChrysler and Ford as well as experts from international well-known consultant organization (including supplier development managers from DaimlerChrysler and Ford, constitutors of MMOG and EDI standard established and advocated by AIAG, first class experts on TS quality system, lean production, 6 SIGAMA and process management , in total about 20 persons). The evaluation work will focus on management, logistics, production, and quality system of the enterprises.
The Gap Analysis will help Chongqing enterprises to find out the gap between what Chongqing auto parts enterprises are capable to deliver and the requirement of international buyers and find the ways for improvement. It is firmly believed that the Gap Analysis will be successfully completed with the cooperation and coordination of every party involved.
