Senior German Expert Klaus-E. Nehmsch started his work in SPX-Chongqing
Invited by SPX-CQ, senior German expert from Volkswagen, Mr. Klaus-E. Nehmsch, arrived in Chongqing on 23rd of October and started his one month enterprise evaluation work.
After his arrival at Chongqing, Mr. Klaus-E. Nehmsch met with the director of SPX-CQ. They exchanged view on the future work and reached agreement on methodology and schedule of the evaluation.
Accompanied by the interpreter, engineer, supplier manager from SPX-CQ, , Mr. Nehmsch started the field assessment and evaluation on local enterprises from 24th, Oct. So far, 7 enterprises have received field assessment, including Chongqing HongQi Cylinder Head Co., Ltd., Chongqing Hai'ou Foundry Company, Chongqing GuangNeng Automotive Trim Co., Ltd., Chongqing YuJiang Die Casting Co., Ltd. Chongqing Qiutian Gear Co., Ltd., Chongqing Jiangtuo Automobile Parts factory. It is predicted that over 15 companies will be evaluated this month.
After field assessment and evaluation, Mr. Nehmsch gave high praise to Chongqing enterprises. He commented that those factories were in a good condition in the aspects of technology level, quality system, and management system. Meanwhile, Mr. Nehmsch pointed out the shortcomings of the companies and put forward suggestions on existing problems. The companies responded positively to Mr. Nehmsch's visit and thought it is a good chance for them to open to international market and especially an opportunity to cooperate with German Volkswagen. In the whole process of evaluation, from material incoming to finished products, staff from companies accompanied Mr. Nehmsch and answered his questions one by one, and finally, they showed their determination to improve and ameliorate according to Mr. Nehmsch's suggestion in order to meet the demand of market.
Every day Mr. Nehmsch wrote his evaluation report after field visit and recommended those companies he think qualified to Volkswagen China. The purchasing manager of Volkswagen China invited Mr. Nehmsch to visit his office on November 20th to discuss the potential of Chongqing automotive suppliers and has sent the Volkswagen's supplier questionnaire to SPX-CQ for these recommended companies to fill in. Volkswagen China will organize an expert team to carry out official assessment and evaluation on Chongqing enterprises in near future.
