2006 Hiroshima Investment and Trading Match-making meeting in Chongqing was held successfully

Under the leadership of Chongqing Municipal Government and Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, as one of the celebration events of the 20th anniversary of establishment of friendly cities relations between Chongqing and Hiroshima, 2006 Hiroshima Investment and Trading Match-making meeting in Chongqing was held on the 9th floor in Harbor Plaza Hotel on 24th, Oct, 2006. The meeting, sponsored by Economic Bureau and Industrial Promotion Organization of Hiroshima, organized by Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, and co-organized by SPX-CQ, provided a face-to-face meeting opportunity for Hiroshima and Chongqing enterprises who want to establish cooperation relationship in trading and investment.. Almost 30 entrepreneurs from Hiroshima in the field of automotive, food and machinery industry attended the fair.

In the meeting, Mayor of Hiroshima and Deputy Mayor of Chongqing Municipal Government addressed the meeting. The representative from Hiroshima introduced the investment environment of Hiroshima. After that, 15 Hiroshima enterprises and more than 60 Chongqing local enterprises had the face-to-face meeting.

Under the direction of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, based on the full understanding of the intent of Hiroshima companies coming to Chongqing, SPX-CQ selected over 60 potential partners to attend the face-to-face meeting. Thanks to the sufficient preparation, the meeting made great achievements. Some Japanese enterprises exchanged information and data with local enterprises; some had a field visit to local enterprises and some of them reached preliminary agreement on cooperation.
