Entrusted by Honeywell, SPX-CQ Carry out Supplier Pre-selection for "2007 Honeywell Asia Supplier Conference"

Honeywell has sources in excess of $500 million from China and its goal is to grow that number to $1.8 billion by 2012.  The sourcing growth will cover a wide spectrum of commodities including but not limited to plastics/metal mechanical components, electronics, electro-mechanical components, sub assemblies, complete assemblies and etc. across all of four main business segments.

To promote the cooperation between Honeywell and Chinese suppliers, “2007 Honeywell Asia Supplier Conference” will be held in Chongqing on September 24th- 25th, 2007 by Honeywell (China) Co., Ltd.  One of the highlights of the conference is that all the four business units of Honeywell (Aero, Automation Control Solution, Specialty Materials and Transportation) and their current suppliers in Asia and U.S. will attend this conference. Honeywell hopes that this conference will become a platform for Honeywell Business Units and their suppliers from Asia and America to share best practices and strengthen cooperation with the suppliers from China, and some of Chinese development zones.

To invite potential suppliers to participate in this conference, Honeywell entrusted SPX-CQ with supplier pre-selection. Honeywell will select the participants from the shortlist of suppliers provided by SPX-CQ. And SPX-CQ is responsible for the invitation of the selected suppliers.

Now, the pre-selection of Chinese suppliers is going well.
