The Launch of the Supplier Pre-selection Project for Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. (Italy)

Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. (Italy) is world famous motorcycle manufacturer offering a range of the most highly sophisticated and sought-after bikes ever created for the road.  Currently Ducati produces motorcycles in dinstict market segments which vary in their technical and design features and intended customers: Superbike, Supersport, Monster, Multistrada, SportClassic and Hypermotard. The Company's motorcycles are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide, with a primary focus in the Western European and North American markets. Ducati also has amassed a string of World Superbike Championships unprecedented in the history of motorcycle racing. At the present besides the European factory, Ducati owns manufacturing factories in both Taiwan and Vietnam.

Ducati entrusted Italian ITM Company to look for qualified Chongqing suppliers for casting, plastic products and mufflers and ITM Company entrusted SPX-CQ to implement the supplier pre-selection project.

On February 5, 2008, according to the requirement of Ducati, SPX-CQ provided a shortlist of 12 qualified supplies and submitted the quotation of suppliers on February 29, 2008. At the present, Ducati is reviewing the the supplier information submitted, and plans to visit some suppliers on site in April.
