2008 Italian and Chinese Enterprises Matchmaking Activity was Held Successfully in Chongqing

2008 Italian and Chinese Enterprises Matchmaking Activity was held on June 17, 2008 in Chongqing Hilton Hotel. This Activity was sponsored by Italy I.T.M. and SPX-CQ, and was organized by SPX-CQ.

The two Italian companies, Cariboni and TRB plan to purchase accessories of electrical wires (e.g. electric power fitting), construction engineering fittings (e.g. scaffold fittings, fasteners, pedestal), and construction material, and look for factories who produce steel C40 forging, aluminum alloy in gravity mould or die-casting, metal components, and plastic component injection.

SPX-CQ organized 17 Chinese enterprises to take part in the activity, among which, 11 enterprises meet the requirements of Cariboni, and 6 of TRB.

Chengdu Xingyu Precision Casting Co., Ltd. has submitted samples to Cariboni, which meet the process requirements of Cariboni. Furthermore, Xingyu Company invited Cariboni to visit their factory in Chengdu next day. Changhong Jijia Fine Industry Co., Ltd. is preparing quotation documents for Cariboni about aluminium alloy die-casting and sheet metal stamping. Cariboni visited Chongqing Nanping Automation Instrument and Meter Plant on June 18, 2008.

Products of Chongqing Gaoji Scientific Industrial & Trading Development Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Huatong Construction Technology Co., Ltd. are not in complete compliance with  TRB's requirements, though the functions are the same. They will make further discussion about the products' structure and technology. Gaoji and Huatong hope to keep contact with SPX-CQ for more opportunities in international market.
The Italian companies said that although products provided by Chinese suppliers can meet the process requirements, the types of the products are not rich enough. Therefore, Chinese suppliers only can produce one category of products which they need. For buyers, they prefer one partner who can produce or process most products that they need, rather than several suppliers, and this is what most international buyers prefer.
