Motorcycle Enterprises Gather in Chongqing in September for Overseas Development Plan

        The 8th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition will open in Chongqing in September, and 2009 Forum on Development of Chinese Motorcycle Industry organized by the Organizing Committee will also be held during the exhibition. By then, representatives from governments, experts in related fields and media reporters will come together with the motorcycle business representatives across the country to discuss the overseas development plan of Chinese motorcycle enterprises.

        Over the last 30 years, Chinese motorcycle industry has experienced rapid development, and formed the production capability which accounts 50% of the world's motorcycle output. Only in 2008, China produced 27 million motorcycles, of which nearly half are exported overseas. With the growth of the entire industry, Chinese motorcycle enterprises have the ability to "go out" to participate in a wider range of competition, and expand a broader market. At the same time, the domestic unfavorable policy environment leads market narrowing, urban market is squeezed heavily, and rural market is in a vicious cycle of low value-added competition, thus only "going out" can gain more living space, and "going out" will be an inevitable choice that Chinese motorcycle enterprises have to face.

        It is reported that the officials from many governments will deliver a speech at the Forum, and introduce the participants the motorcycle industry condition in their country, as well as their government investment support policy. The precedents in foreign investment will also share their successful experience. We believe that this forum would brainstorm and drive Chinese motorcycle enterprises going global.
