Subcon China 2010 Concluded Successfully

China Industrial Subcontracting & Outsourcing Fair 2010 (Subcon China 2010) and the 17th China International Industry Fair held on April 20 -22 were concluded successfully in Chongqing. As the first subcontracting fair approved by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, through 4-year continuous development, Subcon China has become the most important subcontracting exhibition in China, a main platform for subcontracting trade for buyers and suppliers at home and abroad.

According to statistics provided by the organizer, the match-making meetings of Subcon China 2010 achieved great success. 80 RFQs with drawings and 300 inqueries about investment, cooperation and procurement were received and posted. About 300 associations and enterprises from home and abroad were present at the fair. The procurement value would exceed US$ 100 million. 301 face-to-face business meetings were arranged. And 80% of buyers and suppliers were satisfied with the results of match-making meetings. Averagely, each buyer found 3 suppliers for further visit and contact.

Besides automobile and motorcycle parts, the purchasing demands indicated  a new trend for subcontracting——textile manufacturing machines and mining machines. The enterprises specializing in machining, castings and forgings which are located in Chongqing and surrounding areas, such as Zunyi in Guizhou, Deyang in Sichuan can quite satisfy the subcontracting demands of case forging, shaft precision processing, large-size parts forging and sheet metal processing. It can be predicted that the enterprises in Chongqing and even the whole West China have great potential for development in the field of industrial subcontracting.
