SPX-CQ’S Promotion for CIMAMotor 2010

As the largest motorcycle exhibition in China, the Ninth China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMOTOR 2010) will be held from Oct. 21-24. SPX-CQ will still operate as the strategic partner for CIMAMOTOR. Last year, a total of 340 exhibitors from home and abroad gathered at CIMAMotor, among whom 328 were domestic enterprises and 12 were overseas companies, including Yamaha, Suzuki, Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Peugeot Piaggio and Pem. About 1,000 motorcycles were displayed and over 100 new models were launched at the event. The representatives and purchasers from governments, associations and the import and export chambers of commerce from 31 different countries attended. More than 50,000 visitors visited the exhibition. Additionally, 54 overseas media and 177 domestic Chinese motorcycle industrial and main financial media covered CIMAMotor.

Following last exhibition’s success with participation of world leading motorcycle producers and domestic exhibitors which account for more than 70% of the Chinese motorcycle manufacturing capability, CIMAMOTOR 2010 is expected to bring more surprises. After 8-year continuous development, CIMAMotor has become the most powerful events for motorcycle industry in China. At present, the organizer of CIMAMotor has sent invitations to purchasers from the main Chinese motorcycle export destinations to purchase at the fair, including purchasers from South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Arabia. And the promotion work has launched in North America and Europe.

In addition, the organizer plans to invite key channels of CCTV to give special reports on contribution of motorcycle industry to social development, such as the increasing of employment, modernization of the rural area, development of transport system, and the form of China large scale manufacturing capability.

To create a motorcycle culture environment, CIMAMotor 2010 will organize larger scale and higher level motorcycle riding and activities during the fair.

So far more than 500 maintenance factories and 400 overseas companies and associations have confirmed their presence, over 60% of which are purchasers. More than 1000 motorcyclists from motorcycle clubs will take part in the riding activities. CIMAMotor 2010 will become the greatest motorcycle carnival for the motorcycle industry and motorcycle fans.
